EquitiHealth, LLC ("Equiti"), provider of the Martti medical interpretationplatform, today announced it has successfully completed a System andOrganization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II examination and a HIPAA/HITECHattestation examination for the Martti Platform System. Both examinations wereperformed by A-LIGN ASSURANCE, an independent, licensed CPA firm.
TheSOC 2 Type II examination evaluated the design and operating effectiveness ofEquiti's controls relevant to the Security Trust Services Category, as definedby the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), over thereview period of November 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026. The HIPAA/HITECHexamination evaluated the design of Equiti's health information securityprogram, as of April 30, 2026, against essential elements of the HIPAA SecurityRule and the HITECH Act.
"Earningthese two independent attestations reflects the discipline our team brings toprotecting sensitive healthcare data every day. It shows our continuedcommitment to the healthcare organizations and patients who rely onMartti," said Samantha Leanillo, Chief Information Security & PrivacyOfficer, Equiti.
"Trustis the foundation of everything we build at Equiti,” said Maureen Huber, ChiefExecutive Officer at Equiti. “Theseattestations, alongside our existing HITRUST e1 certification, give ourhealthcare partners independently verified assurance that Martti was built andis operated with security and compliance at its core."
For healthcare IT, security, and compliance leaders, these attestations provide independently verified evidence to support vendor risk assessments and procurement reviews. Together with Martti's HITRUST e1 certification announced earlier this year, they reflect a layered, ongoing approach to security and compliance rather than a single point-in-time claim.
